privacy policy

cyrisia.com is a personal hobby project. this page explains what data is collected, why, and how you can manage it.

what we collect

accounts

if you register an account, we store: email address, username, display name, bio, and an avatar image (optional). passwords are hashed using argon2 and never stored in plaintext. we also store your reading history (what series/volumes you've opened) and favorites (series).

guestbook

when you sign the guestbook, we store your name, message, timestamp, and ip address (for spam prevention and moderation).

comments (isso)

the comment system (isso) stores your name, comment text, and a hash of your ip address. comments attributed to registered users also show your username and avatar.

cloudflare

this site uses cloudflare as a reverse proxy. cloudflare may process standard http logs (ip addresses, user agent, request paths) for security and performance. these logs are not accessible to us and are retained per cloudflare's standard policies.

cookies

we use a session cookie when you log in to your account (required for authentication). no cookies are used for tracking or analytics.

third-party services

this site loads fonts from google fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which may receive your ip address per google's privacy policy. external links to ko-fi and discord are provided as optional features — their privacy practices are governed by their respective policies.

data sharing

we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for any purpose. guestbook entries and comments are displayed publicly on the site with your chosen name but without your email or ip.

data retention

account data is retained until you request deletion. guestbook and comment data is retained indefinitely unless removed via moderation or deletion request.

your rights

you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing srslycyrisia@gmail.com. for accounts, email srslycyrisia@gmail.com from your registered email to request deletion.

changes

this policy may be updated occasionally. continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
