A young man who travels through time awakens as a "Newtype" amidst turbulent currents—an evolved form that shouldn't exist in the world of *Gundam SEED*. Adopted by Orb's Prime Minister Uzumi Athha, he becomes Cagalli's adoptive brother, and deep within his mind lies sealed all the technological data from the Universal Century and the Zero Era. Having traveled the world as a child and witnessed the blood feud between Coordinators and Naturals, he vows to save those who wish to be saved. Returning to Orb, he takes charge of defense under the name "Langrad Athha," secretly constructing the Zaku and GM powered by the Minovsky nuclear reactor, as well as Gundams. When the blood-soaked Valentine ignites war, and a neutral interference device paralyzes the world's energy, Orb proudly stands independent thanks to its pre-planned solar power grid. He leads the Kusanagi and the Three Ships Alliance, tearing through enemy lines on the battlefields of Jachin Dewey, Messiah, and Finderson, known as the "Red Comet."
