Lord of the House

The contemporary man Tan Zong met an unjust demise, yet his valiant spirit endures. He unexpectedly finds himself transported to a peculiar historical era, assuming the identity of Lin Fu, a timid and somewhat scorned subordinate of the Lin family in Dongyang Prefecture. Before Lin Fu could fulfill his aspirations of idling away the days, walking dogs, tending to birds, and pursuing young women, he became embroiled in a conflict involving modern celebrities, local bullies, and the DPRK due to his infatuation with Su Mei, a renowned prostitute in Jiangning whose presence spells trouble for the nation. Amidst the whirlpool of rivalry and allure, a multitude of forces, including powerful officials, rebellious heroes, and East China Sea pirates, entered the fray. Refusing to be a mere peacekeeper or a victim of chaos, let us witness how Lin Bie, having lived two lives, begins to stir the winds and create storms from the depths of the power hierarchy, ultimately achieving the illustrious journey of "where you know Luo skirt, ecstasy has a fragrance" — a stunning transformation from "a capable minister of ruling the world" to "a hero of troubled times."
