Only Starlight

When Jian Wei was just thirteen years old, she stood outside the gymnasium, captivated as the boy on the screen sang as if stars were cascading from the heavens. When he turned to face the camera, his clear dark eyes seemed to be locked onto hers, as if he was gazing only at her. Years later, despite having no actual connection, Jian Wei finds herself wearing a mask because she is mistaken for Zhou Peipei, a well-known celebrity. To everyone around her, she is no longer Jian Wei, but rather Zhou Peipei. Seven years later, she encounters her Male God once more by sneaking into his filming crew alongside her famous round cat. He becomes one of the first to realize that she is not Zhou Peipei. Because all this time, he has been watching her. You are my only star.
