Swallowing the Seas

The probing tentacles are concealed within the waves of the Internet, omnipresent and infinite, gradually submerging every aspect of contemporary society. "Hidden within the abyss lies a vast, intricate, and deeply entrenched criminal network. The 'Mariana Trench' goes far deeper than law enforcement is aware, yet it lurks closely behind you and me—" Wu Yuwen, a newcomer from the Jinhai City Public Security Bureau Cowardly, is shy and reserved. He avoids creating trouble for his demanding superior and simply aims to be a silent participant, receiving his paycheck on time to make a living. Unbeknownst to others, this young man has a bounty on his head from drug lords and is someone who has once slain dragons in the depths. The narrative unfolds in a modern urban crime investigation setting, showcasing an indifferent demeanor, strict discipline, a focus on health, and an elite academic approach to getting by. He is reluctant to engage in work, despising the academic environment, and resents being directed, as he is subjected to leadership from Chonghua Wu. Supporting characters include our friendly and harmonious public security teammates, alongside the hardworking villain BOSS, Qin Chuanyan, and Jiang Ting, who make friendly guest appearances.
