Progressive plot and continually evolving characters; if that’s your vibe, check it out.] Luke possessed everything he could want: a sharp intellect, excellent grades, and a beloved story he was well-versed in. He had never experienced a moment of magic personally. Then, while reading it, he died and found himself awakened in the world of that very tale. A realm where magic was dwindling and the reasons remained forgotten. A realm where the hero he once admired was now seen as a traitor. Reborn without any abilities of his own, Leon's sole power is this: any spell that is cast upon him becomes his to retain. Can Leon, equipped only with a stolen ability, survive long enough to reveal a truth that an empire has concealed? Will he rescue the world he once cherished, or has it already gone too far?
