Wanjin Lady

The Wen family in Ping County is renowned for their wealth, with tales suggesting that even their eating utensils are crafted from gold. Sadly, Mr. Wen struggles with having children and is left with only two daughters. As Mr. Wen's health deteriorates, the family faces the threat of extinction from their clansmen. Wen Wan, who has recently traveled through time, finds herself in a pressing situation. She urgently requires a well-behaved and dutiful son-in-law. Meanwhile, Wei Zheng, the Marquis of Huai'an, is sent to the south of the Yangtze River to investigate a case but is ambushed and rendered unconscious by a huntress during a manhunt. He is swiftly brought to Wen Wan's bed. With his memory lost, Wei Zheng assumes the identity of Zhao Heng, the son-in-law of the Wen family. The hand that once wielded a sword for killing now finds itself making soup. Finally Wen Wan discovers that she is pregnant, and without hesitation, she casts the drugged and unconscious Wei Zheng into the snowy wilderness of Cangshan Mountain, 500 miles away, to end his life.
