It is often said that good actions bring rewards while evil actions lead to punishment. However, my reward for my good deeds was a prison sentence. Three years behind bars imparted a crucial lesson: good-hearted individuals are often taken advantage of, and kind horses are ridden hard. The duration of my imprisonment eroded my gentle nature and shattered my innocence. I once approached others with sincerity, patience, and understanding, but in return, I faced betrayal and deceit, which tarnished my reputation, forced me to take the fall for others' misdeeds, and derailed my future. Within those prison walls, I experienced both the cruelty and compassion of human connections and came to grasp the deceitful essence of the world. I realized that kindness must be tempered with strength; passivity will merely become a vulnerability for others to exploit. On the day I regained my freedom, I cast aside my gentleness and tucked away my soft heart. From now on, I refuse to be a victim of others' exploitation; I will exact revenge for every injustice and resolve every grievance. If justice in this world is not predetermined by destiny, then I will take it upon myself to seek justice.
